With its distinct landscape, volcanoes, hot springs, geysers, massive glaciers, lava fields and surely the breathtaking northern lights, Iceland is a true beauty and does possess a great deal to dazzle its visitors.

Up until 2008, marine products performed the key industry of the Icelandic economy. The country still among leading fishing nations in the world, with over 1% of the total world’s catch. After the The Icelandic financial crisis was in late 2008, and following severe economic depression between 2008 and 2010, country’s number of economy has shifted to tourism. Currently there are two major Icelandic airlines, Icelandair and WOW Air, that provide low-cost flights from various cities of the US to Reykjavik where the capital and the only city in Iceland.
