Zion National Park

Zion truly offers far more than what you seek from a national park. The photograph is taken at Zion Observation Point. To get there, you will need to get off the shuttle bus at stop number 8, and take East Mesa Trail. The trails continues about 8 miles to the top and it is considered as a strenuous hike. Slopes are not very steep or long, but enough to stress the body and raise the heart rate. Definitely make sure to get enough water and food before you start since you will be dehydrating a great deal on the trail, especially during a sunny day and have sun glasses on, put on sun block, wear quality hiking boots. Also, you will be passing through Echo Canyon Passage which is a wonderful stop to take a break for a quick snack on your way up to the Observation Point.
