The Last Night in Madrid

It’s Tuesday… My wrist-watch shows 8pm in El Foro… The sun is quietly setting over the Iberian Peninsula… The summer breeze silently blowing at the Plaza Mayor while the yellow street lights start brightening this historic, alluring part of the city… The clouds are precipitously passing by in the Madrid sky and turning the evening into mystical night… And the restaurants in the central plaza in the city of Madrid begin swarming with locals and tourists to have dinner and a few drinks in this charming, dazzling, exquisite atmosphere… And suddenly over there in the churchyard, the old, cracked church bell gets activated for evening mass… I, on the other hand, am sitting on one of the round benches, under the lamppost at the main square, sipping my coffee, playing with my camera’s settings and waiting the night to take possession of the warm, dry Madrid day… And, it’s time!
