Barcelona City Lights
The Capital City of Catalonia, neo-Gothic architecture with distinctive style and Oriental techniques by the best known practitioner of Catalan Modernism, Antoni Gaudi; immeasurable culture, traditional catalan dishes, fascinating beaches drenched by Mediterranean Sun… Barcelona has become one of the most tourist destinations in Spain since hosting the Olympic Games in 1992.
Photograph from Park Güell on a warm summer’s evening in June 2017. Moments of the Sun setting over this enchanting seaside city, Barna, in Iberian Peninsula… Me, standing there, meanwhile the majesty of the city posing as proud and reliant… The clouds are gradually wrapping the evening and the night is getting itself ready to reveal the moonlight. In the meantime, the noble city ignores displaying the details of its and presents the pattern of lights which grasp every soul that gaze at it. Then a mystic melody by street musicians playing on tiny alleys reaches to the park and offers a feast to ears. A midsummer night’s breeze starts stroking the faces of dazzled visitors… And relics of joy, drama, tragedy, love, hope surround the Monumental Zone.
Barna: One of the most popular colloquial terms used by locals for the City of Barcelona
